Landscape Construction Crew Leader

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. As a Landscape Crew Leader, you will be responsible for managing a crew to build landscape and hardscape structures to ensure they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

- Planting and fertilizing flowers, trees, and shrubs

- Spraying herbicides to kill invasive weeds

- Spreading material such as mulch and stone

- Building patios and retaining walls

- Follow plans for landscape and hardscape construction

- Leading the crew member and delegating tasks

- Operating equipment such as blowers, hammers, saws, and skid steers

- Work to perform basic routine maintenance on tools and equipment

- Report to management on job and team performance

- Ensure the job is completed in a timely manner and high quality of work

- Communicate with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Required)

- Professional landscape experience (2 years required)

- Previous leadership experience (Preferred)

- Ability to drive small trucks and trailers

- Ability to effectively and safely use small machinery (skid loaders and mini-excavators)

- Ability to work in various weather conditions

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

- Familiarity with operating power tools and equipment

- Good communication and customer service skills

Position: Full time

Schedule: M-F, 8 hour shift, 6-7 AM start time

Starting Pay: $20 per hour
